Welcome To My Print Store!
Thank you for visiting Prints of Bath!
I'm Sam Gillespie, the founder of Match Box Film Co, a Bath-based video production company, and a commercial drone operator of 5+ years.
I set up Prints of Bath to give people the opportunity to own their very own wall art prints of Bath, the stunning Georgian city in the south west of England that I'm proud to call home.
Since establishing Prints of Bath in 2021, orders have come in from all around the world, from Finland to the USA. A lot of these customers are looking for a memento from an unfortgetable trip to the UK. Equally, I receive a lot of orders from Bath residents, or Bathonians who now live away from the city.
Bath isn't a huge city. However, it always looks a little bit different depending on the time of day, weather or season. For this reason, I always set out to capture Bath's iconic landmarks in contrasting weather conditions, such as capturing The Circus in both spring and winter under the snow.

What's the difference between open and limited editions?
Open edition prints can be printed indefinitely. However, Limited edition prints come with a certification of authenticity proving they form part of a limited run of prints. As such, these will never be printed again once that specific image has sold out. From 2023, and accompanying the certificate of authenticity, limited edition prints will have my signature and print numbering directly on the print.
The print I want is sold out, will you be making more available?
If a print is showing as "sold out", it is because it was part of a limited run of limited edition fine art prints. When they're gone they're gone!
What sizes do you offer?
All prints are supplied in standard A sizes to make it easier for you to find a frame. Prints are supplied with a white border for ease of handling and to help fitting to frames. N.B. The mockup images are for illustrative purposes only - actual size and dimensions may vary - the exact print dimensions are shown in the drop down menu on each product page.
What paper do you use for printing?
All my prints are printed to silver-based digital C-type Fuji archival photographic paper in matt finish to preserve the beauty of the photograph.
C-Type photo paper is really versatile as it is coated with a slightly stippled texture which I find not only gives a very natural finish with subtle colours, but also continuous tone - meaning the paper can produce subtle colour gradients, shadow detail and an almost 3-dimensional photographic feel.
Do the prints come framed?
All prints come unframed (unless specifically stated in product description) in a hard cardboard tube or envelope directly from my printers.
How long will my prints take to get to me?
Prints are sent to my printers for fulfilment at midnight GMT on the day of your order and sent using Royal Mail for UK orders or Deutsche post ‘Signed For’ services for other orders. This usually means 2-3 working days from ordering to receiving your prints for UK & Germany. EU & EEA, USA & Canada and Rest of World could take longer, but you will receiving tracking information when your order ships.
If you need prints in a real hurry, please contact me and I'll see what I can do. However, please keep in mind that due to a busy production schedule I might not always be able to respond to emails quickly!
